I can never reblog that one post that's like "what fictional food did you desperately want to eat as a child " bc I had this dinosaur book as a kid and in the book there was this illustration of a T. Rex eviscerating a Triceratops and feasting on its remains and it looked like it was having such a good time with the triceratops carcass that I would have traded anything to be that T. Rex. How to express "You don't have to like every single type of fictional content but you DO have to leave people alone about it" in a way people actually wrap their heads around?

Don't "yes except for" this post, I mean ALL kinds of fictional content. Even the freak nasty shit that you personally hate. Learn to block and enjoy the things you love, surround yourself with people who like the stuff you like and don't post about the stuff you dislike. Learn to blacklist and set boundaries. What kind of fictional content people like in their free time has nothing to do with you. They don't even know you. Move on.
